The Fastest Growing UK Halal Franchise Sponsors the World’s Best Halal Food Festival

For the 6th year running, a distinguished UK Halal butchery chain, Arkenz ltd, is honored to sponsor London Halal Food Festival. The prestigious annual event will see an olympic-sized upgrade as this year’s venue has been confirmed to be London Stadium Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Taking place this 25th-26th of September, the goal of the event is to unite cultures across the London community, and beyond, over the love of halal food.

London Halal Food Festival (LHFF) expects to greet thousands of foodies, families, and fun seekers throughout the weekend thanks, in part, to the generous sponsorship of Arkenz ltd. Community involvement is a key aspect of operations at the well-known halal franchise, which has been acknowledged for its support of the event organizers, stakeholders, and the halal industry from the very beginning.

Waleed Jahangir, Managing Director of Algebra Consulting, who organizes the iconic event states:

“Tariq has been with us for all our events which include each inception of the London Muslim Shopping Festival, London Eid Festival, and, of course, the LHFF. Covid took a real toll on our ability to present this occasion after a year of absence, but thanks to Tariq’s generous support he has brought us back.”

Tariq Sheikh, Chairman, and Founder of Arkenz ltd adds:

“We are delighted to play such an integral role in extending the joy of halal to our community. Halal is for everyone, and we hope that the growth of this year’s event brings that to light. We look forward to sharing some of our new products this year including samples of our gourmet house brand cheeses and discussing with festival participants exciting opportunities that now exist as our brand moves into Europe.”

Mirroring Arkenz ltd’s franchise growth, the amplitude of London Stadium allows for a bigger and better experience in 2021 with over 100 food and drink stalls, shopping expo, kids fun zone, competitions and complete cookery theatre with celebrity chef demos hosted by Master Chef winner Shelina Permaloo. It will also serve to consider the health and safety of guests, exhibitors and event staff with more outdoor space allowing for greater Covid compliance and social distancing observation.

Graham Gilmore, the CEO, London Stadium, said: "We are delighted to host this exciting event on our Stadium Island which brings the food, music and culture of the Muslim community together in one place for a weekend for everyone to enjoy”.

Lyn Garner, Chief Executive of LLDC, said: “It’s great to see such a successful festival coming to London Stadium. What better place to enjoy great food and drink and amazing exhibits than Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park? It’s easy to get to, safe to visit, and surrounded by world-class sports venues and wonderful parkland to enjoy.”
